Wellington, FL – March 11, 2014 – Double H Farm is pleased to announce an exciting partnership with Vitafloor® as they aim to keep their horses happy and healthy throughout the show year. Owned by the Harrison Family and based in Wellington, FL, and Ridgefield, CT, Double H Farm features exceptional grand prix jumpers, young jumpers, and up-and-coming hunters, and offers quality hunter and jumper sale horses in addition to their strong line-up of stallions available for breeding. The horses of Double H Farm show at the best competitions in North America and around the world and stay in top form thanks to Vitafloor.
Vitafloor® was initially developed in Europe over 10 years ago and was the first whole body vibration system (WBV) specifically developed for horses. After its successful introduction in Europe, Vitafloor was introduced into the U.S. in 2010, where it quickly became known as the premier vibrating floor system with top clients from various disciplines of equestrian sport. The company is headquartered in California and also has an office in The Netherlands, from which the European activities are coordinated. In addition, Vitafloor uses an extensive distributor network throughout Europe, the Middle and Far East. In the U.S., the company is the exclusive distributor for a full line of horse training equipment, including Euro walkers, horse solariums, Safety Walls and Sedelogic Saddle Pads.
Vitafloor specializes in supplying innovative and non-invasive horse training and rehabilitation products and methods, and is working together closely with Double H Farm on the application and use of it’s products. Double H first started using the Vitafloor products about two years ago and currently uses their portable unit VMO, which is a stand alone user friendly vibrating plate. The product helps to make the horses more loose, supple and fit, and also helps to improve range of motion. Very importantly, the treatment is non-invasive and the horses relax (it lowers their cortisol) and enjoy it!
With riders Quentin Judge and Cayce Harrison, Olympic gold medalist McLain Ward, as well as German show jumper Daniel Deusser, Double H Farm’s horses enjoy the best therapeutic treatments available to always stay in shape and feeling good. Quentin Judge has made his mark as a grand prix competitor in recent years with wins and top finishes on many exceptional horses owned by Double H Farm, and values the help of state-of-the-art therapies such as Vitafloor to keep his horses going their best.
“We have used Vitafloor for two years now and we have seen the great effect that the products have on our horses,” Judge stated. “The horses feel great. They are relaxed, happy, fit and moving better than ever. We are very grateful to Vitafloor for their help and the use of their fantastic therapies. They are simple to use and the horses love it.”
Vitafloor USA, Inc. was started by Holm Oostveen in the beginning of 2010. Oostveen is pleased to be a part of the exceptional team at Double H Farm through their partnership with Vitafloor and explained that Double H has been an important part of the development of Vitafloor’s products.
“For Vitafloor it is important to work with some of the top farms in the various disciplines, as they and their riders give very important feedback about the strengths and weaknesses of our product, and therefore help us in developing and providing the best product available,” Oostveen stated. “Double H is generally accepted as one of the top jumping barns in the U.S. As such, Cayce and Quentin and their staff provide us important feedback about the quality of our products and help us to continue to improve them in both the interest of the horses and their owners.”
The horses and riders of Double H Farm look forward to continuing a successful winter season competing at the 2014 FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, FL. For more information on Vitafloor, please visit www.vitafloorusa.com or www.vitafloor.com.
