For Immediate Release
Ridgefield, CT – July 9, 2014 – The friends of equestrian Anne Heyman are pleased to announce an evening celebrating her life and charitable efforts. Many were deeply impacted this winter when Anne, a friend and fellow competitor, tragically passed away following a fall from her horse at the age of 52. A former New York City assistant district attorney and a philanthropist, Anne founded a youth village in Africa for children orphaned by the 1994 Rwandan genocide, and ‘Anne’s Night’ will celebrate and benefit her cause.
‘Anne’s Night’ will be held on Saturday, September 13, coinciding with the American Gold Cup, to raise money to support and continue Anne’s “Village.” The Harrison Family will host the event at their beautiful Double H Farm in Ridgefield, CT, beginning at 7 PM. Becky and David Gochman will also be sponsoring the evening. The party will be ‘Safari Style’ and feature exciting musical guests to be announced soon.
Please join us by helping to continue her efforts for these children and many others. Even if you cannot attend the event, you can still contribute by donating money or becoming a sponsor.
