North Salem, NY – April 24, 2013 – The Old Salem Farm Spring Horse Shows will be awarding almost a half million dollars in prize money this year at their two-week event on May 7-12 and 14-19, 2013. This great opportunity for hunters, jumpers, and equitation riders is thanks to many generous sponsors that help make the shows one of the best in North America.
A Top 25 Rated Event by the North American Riders Group, the Old Salem Farm Spring Horse Shows will welcome some of the country’s best horses and riders and couldn’t do it without sponsor support. The Old Salem Farm Spring Horse Shows also contribute to the Old Salem Farm Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Jumpers will compete over courses designed by Guilherme Jorge and Anthony D’Ambrosio. Along with increased prize money this year, a new Medium Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumper division was added, and we are happy to offer a Pre-Green Hunter Stake Class during week two as part of the the USHJA Pre-Green Hunter Incentive Program.

The $100,000 Empire State Grand Prix, held on Sunday, May 19, will offer $25,000 more in prize money in 2013 and is presented by The Kincade Group.
