For Immediate Release

Wellington FL – January 19, 2015 – Mark Bellissimo, Managing Partner of Equestrian Venues in Wellington FL, Tryon NC, and Parker CO, and Carsten Mikkelsen, CEO of Kingsland Equestrian with Gianluca Caron, Kingsland North American Manager, are pleased to announce that a major United States equestrian sponsorship initiative has been inked between their respective organizations. Kingsland Equestrian, one of the world’s premier equestrian apparel companies, will provide sponsorship at the world-renowned Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center, the new Tryon International Equestrian Center, and the newly acquired Colorado Horse Park. Kingsland Equestrian just recently launched its entry into the U.S. Market.

At the 2015 Winter Equestrian Festival, Kingsland Equestrian will be the presenting sponsor of one of WEF’s highest profile equestrian events, the FEI Nations Cup, during the CSIO 4* week on February 27, as well as the presenting sponsor of the Official Nations Cup After Party at The Gallery. They will also be presenting sponsor of the $25,000 Artisan Farms Under 25 Grand Prix Series Semi-Final during WEF 9 on March 6. In the hunter ring, they sponsor the Adult Amateur 18-35 Hunters Section B.

In Tryon and Colorado, Kingsland will be the presenting sponsor of a major division and grand prix classes at the venues. More details and the dates will be announced soon.

“Kingsland Equestrian is making a major commitment to our venues, and in turn will be able to roll out their national plan for distribution and exposure across the United States for their fantastic products,” said Mark Bellissimo, the principle partner in the Wellington, Tryon, and Colorado Equestrian Partners. Bellissimo added, “We are honored to be a partner with such a well- respected brand.”

In addition to sponsorship, Kingsland Equestrian will have unique “Shop-In-Shop” experiences at all three venues and will have branding across all three horse show grounds.

Kingsland CEO Carsten Mikkelsen noted, “Kingsland Equestrian is thrilled to be the first sponsor to make this commitment across these three world-class venues. We believe this is the most powerful and cost-effective way to brand Kingsland throughout United States. Given the high level of Canadian and South American participation in these events and venues, it allows us to consolidate our strategy for North and South America. At the same time, we immediately receive an unfiltered end-consumer response towards our products. This is extremely valuable for us in order to pick up on possible needed product and concept adjustments for future collections.

Gianluca Caron, Kingsland North American Manager, added, “Kingsland is truly an international brand and with our expansion into the United States, the FEI Nations Cup at WEF is the perfect event to associate with our brand. We look forward to providing the official hats, shirts, and Nations Cup jackets to show jumping fans at WEF.”

Kingsland Equestrian will also be launching a major advertising initiative with The Chronicle of the Horse in both print and electronic media. The Chronicle of the Horse, founded in 1937, is the oldest and most respected equestrian publication in the U.S. focused on Sport Horses. It is the number four ranked equestrian website in the world (number one non-racing site, out of 6,555 equestrian websites) with over 7 million unique visitors over the last 12 months (http://www.alexa.com/topsites/category/Top/Sports/Equestrian).

Mikkelsen added, ‘We believe the timing to launch our equestrian apparel in the USA with this partnership is excellent, and we want to make sure it gets the greatest exposure to the largest audience. The Chronicle reach is amazing.”
