Wellington, FL – April 5, 2012 – G&C Farm had a very successful winter sponsorship season and is looking forward to a great summer show calendar. G&C Farm would like to congratulate the winners of their sponsored classes at the 2012 FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival (FTI WEF) in Wellington, FL, as well as the Live Oak International Show in Ocala, FL. G&C Farm would also like to announce the sponsorship changes for the 2013 FTI WEF. G&C Farm is based in Wellington, FL, and owned by Gustavo and Carolina Mirabal of Venezuela.

At the recent Live Oak International, G&C Farm sponsored the G&C Farm Leading Jumper Rider Award, which went to fellow Venezuelan rider Andres Rodriguez, who won the $50,000 Live Oak International Grand Prix on Caballito. G&C Flash and Pablo Barrios finished seventh in the grand prix. In the $15,000 EYE D Welcome Stake, G&C Lepanto and Luis Larrazabal were ninth.

“We were proud to be a part of the first CSI competition at Live Oak,” said Gustavo Mirabal. “I would like to thank Chester Weber and his family for their amazing hospitality at the beautiful horse show.”

Looking ahead to 2013, G&C Farm will be a major sponsor at the FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival. They will be the weekly sponsor during CSIO Week 8 once again, presenting the $75,000 FEI Nations Cup. They will also be the title sponsor of the 1.45m division, which offers multiple FEI ROLEX world ranking classes to FTI WEF riders. New for 2013, G&C Farm will be the title sponsor of the Puissance class.

Mirabal stated, “We had a fantastic year at the FTI WEF. It was amazing to see the level of competition in the G&C Farm 1.45m Jumper classes, and we enjoyed watching. We feel that sponsorship at top events in North America is very important, and we will continue to support the sport.”

Coming up this Saturday, April 7, G&C Farm is the presenting sponsor at the Gene Mische American Invitational. This exciting show jumping event is held at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL. G&C Farm is proud to help this historic and important event.
