At the FTI WEF, G&C Farm was a major sponsor. They were the week one title sponsor on January 13-17, where they also sponsored the $25,000 G&C Farm Speed Derby won by Olympic gold medalist Rodrigo Pessoa and Palouchin de Ligny (below).
They were also the driving force and title sponsor behind the $25,000 G&C Farm Young Riders Grand Prix classes that were held during the FTI WEF. They were won by David Arcand of Canada on Santos Utopia (below) and Jessica Springsteen with Iscariote.
G&C Farm also stepped up to help one of America’s most prestigious show jumping competitions. They were the presenting sponsor of the $200,000 Gene Mische American Invitational, held on April 10. The event, celebrating it’s 31st anniversary, was won by Jeffrey Welles on Armani.
“We were thrilled to be able to support these incredible show jumping events,” said Gustavo Mirabal, owner of G&C Farm. “We want to help support this sport in the United States and around the world, and we were amazed at the success of these classes and the exposure it has brought our farm, riders, and horses.”
An announcement was made during week eight of the FTI WEF that G&C Farm will be the title sponsor of week eight during the 2011 FTI WEF. This week will include the FEI Nations Cup class along with additional FEI qualifying classes for show jumpers.
“We are very excited to be here in Wellington and be part of WEF. The Nations Cup week is very important for us. We’re very happy to be part of the family, and we’re very happy with the show. We can do a lot of things together,” Mirabal said.
