Wellington, FL – May 14, 2012 – Equestrian Sport Productions (ESP) concluded the fifth and final week of its 2012 spring horse show series this weekend with great success. The ESP Spring 5 competition was held on May 12-13 at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) in Wellington, FL. 

The PBIEC will host more exciting competition throughout the upcoming months with the ESP Summer Show Series. The series will begin with the June I and June II horse shows, running June 1-3 and June 8-10, and featuring ‘A’ rated hunter and 3* jumper competition. 

The June I horse show will kick the series off with a $10,000 Open Jumper Stake on Friday, June 1, and a $25,000 Grand Prix on Saturday, June 2.

ESP Spring 5 Jumper Highlights
The final week of the ESP Spring Series saw fantastic competition in the hunters, jumpers and equitation. In the jumpers, Skylar Rogalny won the Tackeria NAL Child/Adult Jumper Classic for the week. Rogalny rode Sweet Oak Farm’s Shakespeare to the victory over second place finisher Rebecca Salsbury and her horse No Boundaries. Breanne Dofort and Chagall Van De Bruggrave placed third.

It was a clean sweep for rider Cameron Morris and Calvin, owned by Caroline Mason, in the Low Children’s/Adult Jumper 3’3″ division for the week. Morris and Calvin won all three classes in the division, including the Classic, which was held on Sunday. Evi Smith and No Limits also jumped consistently throughout the competition, finishing second to Morris and Calvin in each of the three classes.

In the M&S Children’s/Adult Jumper Classic, Angela Misch and Hidden Creek’s Shadow, owned by Les Cabrioles LLC, were the victors. Misch also finished second in the classic aboard S.F. Carco, owned by Debbi White. In the division, Misch and S.F. Carco won the first two classes of the week as well.

In the Hopeful Jumper 2’9″ division, Bobby Kraut guided Eventual, owned by Montoga, Inc., to the championship with two class wins. Celonika, owned by Julia Harrison-Lee and ridden by Gemma Paternoster, also won a class in the division and earned the reserve championship.

Hunter and Equitation Highlights
The hunter divisions began week five by awarding the Pilates Rocks Low Adult Hunter championship to Island Life and Michelle Myers. The pair finished first, first, second and third over fences and won the under saddle. William Tell, owned by Redfield Farm and shown by Carly Rabin, earned the reserve championship.
In the #1 Education Place Low Children’s Hunter division, Everything Roxy and Giovana Melo earned the championship tricolor with a win under saddle and two first and two second place ribbons over fences. Damiro, owned by James B. Pirtle Ent., Inc. and ridden by Amanda Geary, was the reserve champion.
In the Children’s/Adult Hunter division, Equus Show Horses’ Camden and Marisa Tomassetti were the champions. The pair placed first under saddle and first, first, third and third over fences. Choose To Cruise and Kelly Liese finished in reserve.

In the equitation, Morgane Qualls rode Brianna Diener’s Le Flilou to victory in the Pessoa/USEF Hunter Seat Medal, sponsored by Roland College. Brett Burlington guided Jefferson to a win in the ASPCA Maclay class, and Liza Finsness and Fedelio topped the WIHS Equitation overall. Sophia Lima was champion in the Equitation 14 & Under riding Love Song, and Maggie Savoie topped the Equitation 15-17 division riding Ksenyio.
