Wellington, FL – April 28, 2015 – The 2015 Equestrian Sport Productions (ESP) Spring Horse Show Series awarded circuit championships after three weeks of “AA” competition in April. The circuit was a huge success and rewarded the consistent performances of its many great competitors. The ESP Spring Series continues with two more shows on May 1-3 and May 9-10, 2015.
Hunter Divisions
In the Performance Working Hunter 3’6” division, Anne Kanner earned the championship with Ruth Kanner’s By The Way, and Holly Orlando rode her mount, Eclypse, to the reserve championship. In the Gold Coast Feed & Supply Performance Hunter 3’3” Division, Hayley Barnhill rode Astrid Michelson’s Beso to the championship, and Ed Copeland aboard Buttonwood Street LLC’s Amadeus were awarded the reserve championship.
ESP’s Open Hunter 3’ Division saw a championship win by Marissa Damone aboard Harriet Schielle’s Bismarck. Kristy Herrera rode to the reserve championship aboard Richard Schechter’s Zaloubet. ESP’s Open Hunter 3’3” Division saw Joanne Kovacs and Dennis Sisco’s Utoo De Roton awarded the championship, followed by Gustavo Prato aboard Leah Harris’ Donatello in reserve.
Pilates Rocks sponsored the Low Adult Hunter 2’6” Division, of which Leah Patipa and her mount, Regard, claimed the championship. Dana Tonelli and Nomad placed in the reserve championship.
In the Palm Beach Riding Academy Short Stirrup Hunter Division, the championship was claimed by Hanna Brunelle and Riley Hick’s Barrington’s Brew of Magic. Reserve champion was awarded to Isabella White, riding Lauren Hogan’s Miss Australia.
In the McGuinn Modified Hunter division, both the championship and reserve honors were awarded to Ella Bostwick aboard Forget Me Not’s Sugarbrook Adorablue and Patrick Burssens’ Royal Classic, respectively.
The Low Working Hunter Division awarded Kristy Herrera the championship aboard Richard Schechter’s Endless Romance. The reserve championship was awarded to Leslie Campbell and her mount, El Raymond.
The Adult Amateur Hunter Divison saw Evi Smith aboard Show Horses Inc. & Joanna Kovac’s Guidean claim the championship. Mimi Tashjian and Rivers Edge’s Waterford took the reserve championship place.
In the Amateur-Owner Hunter 3’3” Division, Bridget Hallman and Gala, owned by Hallman and Merrylegs South, claimed the championship. In reserve was Margaret O’Meara aboard Woodland Way Inc.’s Property Of. The 3’6” Amateur-Owner Division saw Kaitlin Porath and Meadow Hill Stables’ O.C. claim champion, followed by Krista Weisman on Krista and Alexa Weisman’s Reality in reserve.
In ESP’s Junior Hunter 3’3” Division, Abbegail Molea and Michael Dietrich’s Red Drum rode to the championship. Madison Arani and Taylor Willever’s Eloquence were awarded reserve champion.
The Large Junior Hunter Division saw Emma Kurtz and David Gochman’s Fredrick earn the championship win. Victoria Colvin and Lili Halterman’s Castlekeep rode to the reserve championship.
Devon De Phillips claimed champion with Alyce Simon’s Dun N Glitter in the Baby Green Hunter Division. In reserve champion was Molly Sewell aboard Hillary Jean’s Brightly. In the Pre-Green Hunter Level 1 Division, Sewell and White Hill Farm’s Casparo claimed the championship, followed by Victoria Colvin aboard Visse Wedell’s Fabrino in reserve. The Pre-Green Hunter Level 2 Division saw Kaitlin Campbell and Ashley Hartman’s Touchback ride to the championship and Marissa Damone aboard Harriet Schiele’s Santinero in reserve.
The Children’s Hunter Division championship was awarded to Isabel Ernst and her mount, Double Dutch, followed by Franchesca Selhaver-Ramos and her mount, Sandro Reuben, in reserve. In the Low Children’s Hunter Division, Angela Calicchio and her mount, Couture, claimed the championship and Gigi Moynihan aboard Alyssa Difazio’s Stella were awarded the reserve championship.
The Pony Hunter Divisions, Small, Medium and Large, were also in full swing during ESP’s Spring Series. In the Small Pony Division, Zayna Rizvi claimed the championship aboard Peacock Ridge LLC’s First Edition, and reserve champion was won by Mia Albelo and her mount, Pashmina. Hana Bieling and Madison Mitchell’s Sugarbrook Pink-N-Blue took the championship in the Medium Pony Hunter Division, followed by Sophia Calamari and Ponies & Palms Show Stables LLC’s Woodland’s Talulah in reserve. In the Large Pony Hunter Division, the championship was claimed by Taylor St. Jacques and Lily Ezrow’s Empire’s Victory. The reserve championship was claimed by Sophia Calamari aboard Ponies & Palms Show Stables LLC’s Spellbound.
Taylor St. Jacques and Bill Schaub’s Applause claimed the championship spot in The Green Pony Hunter Division. Emma Kurtz and Forget Me Not Farm’s Unforgettable rode to the reserve championship.
In the Small Junior Hunter Division, Victoria Colvin was awarded champion aboard Lili Halterman’s Genuine, followed by Taylor St. Jacques in reserve champion with Leah Elder’s Carasco.
In the Children’s Pony Division, sponsored by The Wanderer’s Club, Mia Green claimed champion aboard Falcon Ridge Stable’s Brighton My Day. The reserve Championship was awarded to Victoria Rose Watson aboard Francesca Dildabanian’s Ju-Ju B.
The combined Equitation Child/Adult 2’6” Division saw Joanna Soloman ride to champion, followed by Ava Allegre in reserve champion. In the 14 & Under Equitation Division, Siena Vasan took the championship and Angelia Caliccho was awarded reserve champion. The Short Stirrup Equitation championship was awarded to Omni Enkin, followed by Annie Soper in reserve.
The Combined Children’s Hunter Division, sponsored by Echo Program at U of M Ear Institute, saw Isabel Ernst ride to champion on her mount, Double Dutch. Riding to reserve champion was Noa Dierner aboard Pine Hollow Farm’s Jaded Lady.
The Cross Rail Hunter Division saw Katie Peterson ride to championship on Katie Peterson’s P B & K, followed by Hannah Glanzberg and her mount, Silver Shine, in reserve.
Hannah Brunelle and Riley Hick’s Barrington’s Brew of Magic claimed the championship in the Short Stirrup Hunter Division. Alexandra Mikhail aboard Perry Irons’ Just Imagine rode to the reserve championship.
Jumper Divisions
In Equine Tack & Nutritionals Puddle Jumper Division, Natalie Johnson Russell and her mount, Allons-Y, rode to a championship victory. Julia Jenkins aboard her mount, Charina, took the reserve championship.
The Nutrena Training Jumper saw Denise Monopoli aboard Maria Simons-Garcia’s Sir Lio ride to win the championship ribbon. The reserve championship was tied between Jeff Brandmaier aboard Knightwood Stable’s Alfred and Marlee Malamut aboard Tranquility Farm’s Cody.
Manuel Lecuona and Freddy earned the championship in The Derby Gold Low Schooling Jumper Division. Claiming the reserve championship was Eric Flemeng and Floriac LLC’s Absolhut.
In the Low Adult Jumper Division, sponsored by Tuffrider & Equine Couture, the championship was awarded to Dr. Kraig Kulikowski aboard Wellington Ventures LLC’s Peter Parker, and reserve champion was awarded to Morgan Monahan and her mount, Elle.
The Omega Alpha Add Back Jumper Division saw a three-way tie for both the championship and reserve championship titles. In the three-way tie for champion, Natalie Johnson Russell and Jessica Dalziel’s Marginy, Carly Dvorkin aboard Pine Hollow Farm’s Alejandro, and Manuel Lecuona and Megan Bell’s Run Around Sue all took home the championship title. In the tied reserve championship spots were James Brennan and Caroline Lloyd’s Toubon Du Biolay, Joanne Kovacs and Show Horses Inc. & Joanne Kovac’s Quentino, and Cynthia McGrath aboard Virginia Doebler’s Stalypso Dream.
The OnTyte High Schooling/Level 6 Jumper saw a tie for both the championship and reserve championship placings. Claiming the championships were Lauren Tisbo and Tequestrian Farms LLC’s Cantacorda, as well as Manuel Lecuona and his mount, Noche De Ronda. Tied for the reserve championship spots were Emily Thompson aboard her mount, High Heels, and Joanne Kovacs and Show Horses Inc. & Joanne Kovac’s Quentino.
Rafael Jose Contreras and Valencio rode to the championship in the FarmVet Low Junior/Amateur Owner Jumper Division. Tied for the reserve championship were Kimmee Gottwald and Janosch, along with Jennifer Pennebaker aboard Davillant H.
The Equiline High Junior/Amateur Owner Jumper Division saw Victoria Karam and Sacatina ride to the championship. The reserve championship was claimed by Emanuel Andrade and Rufus De Violaines.
In the Sanda Gane Day Spa Children’s and Adult Jumper Division, Courtney Lamitie and Vick Russell’s Cherry Bomb claimed the championship, followed by Carina Sola and Nadine Beck’s Viktoria 77 taking the reserve championship.
In the Low Children’s Jumper Division, sponsored by Tuffrider & Equine Couture, the championship went to Emanuelle Greenberg and Pumpkin Patch Farm LLC’s With Love. Riding to the reserve championship was Emma Seving and her mount, Desert Rose.
In the Children’s Jumper Division, Abbey Bibbings rode to the championship spot with Page Tredennick’s Zenith Dance. The reserve championship went to Carson King and Phoebe Weseley’s Middlemarch.
The Spring Rider Challenge Bonus was awarded to Paul O’Shea in first place, Amanda Derbyshire in second place, and Wilhelm Genn in third.
