Antioch, IL – September 19, 2012 – Chicago Equestrians for a Cause would like to thank the many generous sponsors of its Fourth Annual Chicago Hunter Derby presented by CN. The two-day event was held at Annali Farm in Antioch, IL, on September 8-9, 2012, and featured both national and international hunter derby classes. All proceeds from the weekend will benefit The Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago as well as the USHJA Foundation and the University of Chicago Cancer Research Foundation.
No event can be successful without the help of many great supporters in this industry, and the Chicago Hunter Derby is lucky to have the very best involved with their competition. One of the most generous sponsors of the equestrian sport, CN, returned as the title sponsor of the $50,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby. CN has been one of the greatest supporters of the equestrian sport for many years and the Chicago Hunter Derby appreciates the commitment to their event.

In addition to CN’s fantastic sponsorship of the international derby, ABBA Vet Supply, LLC generously sponsored the $5,000 Abba Vet Supply National Hunter Derby.

Following in the footsteps of its first three events, the Chicago Hunter Derby hopes to raise even more money for Chicago Equestrians for a Cause, a philanthropic group that donates money to significant charities. After the successful event in 2012, everyone looks forward to bigger and better things in 2013.
The Chicago Hunter Derby has been held as a benefit for The Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago for the past three years and continued that assistance in 2012. In addition, the event raised money for The USHJA Foundation for a second year and, always looking to increase their support in the community, has also added the University of Chicago’s Cancer Research Foundation as a brand new beneficiary this year.
